ABNO Softwares is an established software development company based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Our client boasts of proven ability for development of high-performance software solutions taking into thought the process of proper management of solutions that are developed and implemented as products.
Our client is looking to fill the position of:
Sales Executive
The purpose of the role is selling products, prospecting for new clients and marketing of our products. Ability and able to work with an innovative, energetic and supportive team of people who are dedicated to establishing and implementing smart sales and marketing strategies.
These functions will include:
Key Responsibilities & Percentage Time Spent
  • Identifying business opportunities and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options
  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions
  • Keeping abreast with current industry trends and Identifying product improvements or new products
  • Track and report new leads and progression of business targets
  • Prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Develop marketing campaigns, and communication materials
  • Uncover customer needs using a solutions sales approach
  • Manage sales cycle effectively and track every activity
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
  • Degree in IT/Marketing or any related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and business development in an ICT company
  • Customer focus – recognize both internal and external customer’s needs and balances available resources and skills to strive to exceed them.
  • Problem solving skills – be able to break down problems into their essential elements, stay focused on the issue, formulate and assess alternatives
  • Project a positive attitude and be a team player
