Hospitality Organization Operations Manager Vacancy in Kenya

Job Vacancy: Operations Manager – Hospitality
An organization in the hospitality industry located in the outskirts of Nairobi is looking to recruit an Operations Manager.
This position is responsible for management of all operations in the facilities including Human Resource, Marketing, Information Technology, Customer Service, Security, Conference Rooms and Restaurant.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure systems are in place to facilitate efficient management of all the facility functions.
  • Human Resource Management: Hiring, training and motivation of all employees.
  • Marketing and Business Development: Spearheading all sales and marketing activities for the organization.
  • Customer Service: Monitoring all aspects of the guest
  • Conference Facilities: Marketing of conference facilities and overseeing event management
  • Outdoor facilities: Teambuilding, picnicking, camping etc
  • Preparing the budgeting and instituting cost control measures that do not impact guest experience.
  • Preparation of comprehensive daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in Human Resource Management and marketing
  • Effective analytical, interpretation, summarizing and data presentation skills
  • Proficiency in computer and standard software systems i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, accounting, databases, and emails
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Salary: Kes. 30,000 – Based on education and experience
