IT Sales Accounts Manager Vacancy in Nairobi Kenya

Our client Total Solutions Limited is an integrated ICT solutions provider whose focus is to assist clients’ growth by offering them access to modern solutions in terms of enterprise solutions, retail industry solutions and consumer technology.
It’s in this spirit they have retained a top position in Top 100 mid-size companies listing in Kenya for the last five years consecutively.
They are seeking to recruit a highly talented professional to fill in the following position in their Nairobi office:
IT Sales Accounts Manager  
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the IT Sales Accounts Manager will be responsible for the recruitment of new resellers of IT accessories, maintaining commercial relationship between them and the company and generating revenue as per set targets.
Principal Accountabilities:
a) Lead generation:
  • Contact new/prospective resellers of Company products
  • Send quotations and follow up on them till they make orders
  • Respond reseller queries on time
  • Target, develop and grow a group of set accounts
  • Regularly achieve individual revenue and margin targets
  • Understand the account base and demonstrate accurate account mapping / forecasting within all accounts
b)  Account Management:
  • Work on clients’ issues to ensure a smooth flow of events to satisfy the client
  • Introduce new products to resellers to make them aware of the services offered
  • Ensure timely delivery of items and services
  • Build professional, strategic and productive business relationships with account base
  • Demonstrate significant growth across all accounts
  • General administration relating to the sales process
(c) Debt collection:
  • Liaise with accounts team to send SOA to clients before they fall due
  • Collect the payments when need be from the clients
d) Pipeline management:
  • Follow up on sales quotes and prequalification’s
  • Add new quotes to the pipeline
  • Ensure constant growth and conversion
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in IT or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in IT Sales/Reseller business
  • Proactive Account Management
  • Experience in retail operations
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail – achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task
