Legal Industry Administrative Assistant Job in Kenya
Sheerlogic Management Consultants are seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant for one of our client’s; in the legal industry.
The job requirements are as follows:
Job Purpose: Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the Unit manager and officers to facilitate the efficient operation of the division.
Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls to respective officers in the Division
Receive and direct clients
Provide typing and secretarial services for Industrial Relations Unit
Perform general clerical duties including photocopying and mailing
Maintain the diary of the Manager, Industrial Relations for coordination
Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
Retrieve documents from filing system
Handle requests for information and data
Resolve administrative problems and inquiries
Prepare written responses to routine enquiries
Prepare and modify documents including correspondences, reports, drafts, memos and emails
Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments for managers and officers
Prepare schedules and agenda for meetings
Record, compile, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings
Sort and distribute incoming correspondences
Perform any other duties as required.
“O” Level mean grade of C plain
Diploma in law / Human Resource Management/ Business Management/ Secretarial Studies or Business Office Management
Competency in Computer and Typing Skills
3 years working experience in a busy support department or organisation
