Customer Relations Officer / Receptionist Job in Kenya

Position / Title: Customer Relations Officer / Receptionist
Direct Report: Sales Manager
Overall Supervisor: C.E.O
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Serving customers by:- determining requirements, answering inquiries, resolving problems, fulfilling requests, maintaining database and telemarketing.
  • In charge of front office and reception ensuring it is maintained clean at all times and visitors are attended to warmly and satisfactorily.
  • As a personal assistant (PA) to the C.E.O you will work closely to provide administrative support, usually on a one-to-one basis. You will help the C.E.O to make the best use of his time by dealing with secretarial and administrative tasks.
  • Initiating required actions for response to customer service requests for order changes, including the maintenance of order / customer information files, and communicating changes to the appropriate personnel/departments.
  • Answering calls, responding to emails, and making follow up calls for existing and prospective clients.
  • Ensuring and providing quality service to both internal and external customers.
  • Informing clients by explaining procedures; answering questions; providing information.
  • Resolving problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.
  • Maintaining call center database by entering information.
  • Fulfilling requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; forwarding requests
  • Maintaining customer records by updating account information.
  • Recommending potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Preparing product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed from time to time.
  • Build relationships between clients/ colleagues/ departments/ branches/ business partners/ dealers
  • Take 100% ownership of every situation with a client, ensuring issues are resolved to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Any other duties as instructed by your HOD
Qualifications
  • Diploma/ Degree in Business related course
  • 1-3 Years’ experience as Receptionist
  • Hardworking
  • Honest
