Job Profile: HR Executive Payroll
Location: Nairobi
Job Brief: Sheer Logic Management Consultancy Ltd is looking for a knowledgeable HR Executive Payroll to process and manage the company’s and client’s payroll.
The successful candidate will be tasked to administer employee salaries and wages.
The candidate should be able to use HR & Payroll software with accuracy and efficiency. Should be good with numerical and can be trusted with sensitive information.
The goal is to ensure employees receive the correct compensation in a timely manner.
Job Description
  • Auditing of various payroll data entry (adjunct contracts, medical/advance deductions, and timesheets).
  • Managing all leaves by ensuring eligibility notification and monthly maintenance.
  • Filing; Manage payroll files storage.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
  • Prepare reports for upper management, finance department
  • Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
  • Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, overtime, advance pay, and job titles, and department.
  • Coordinate with Finance to pay employees by directing the production and issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts.
  • Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, and nontaxable wages.
  • Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies like IHRM .
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in human resources) or equivalent
  • Qualification in Accounting and using accounting packages is an added advantage
  • Preferred at least 3 year of HR payroll experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office Suite
  • Strong knowledge and Experience in HRIMS
  • Candidates must have processed payroll for at least 1000 employees’
  • Should be well versed in End to End Payroll process
  • Management of outsourced employees added advantage.
  • Handling Statutory Compliance (PAYE, NHIF, and NSSF).
  • Good Communications Skills.
  • Should have work experience in handling client payroll.
  • Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and strictly confidential.

  • Team focused, work environment
