Are you looking to work in the field as a Research Assistant – Data Collection position for a research organization with footprints in East and Central Africa that encourages growth and success from each and every one of its employees?
Who we are?
We are an internationally funded non-governmental organization which undertakes research, strategic litigation, and public interest advocacy.
We require to fill the positions of 10 Data collecting agents in each of the following counties urgently. Bomet, Bungoma, Busia, Embu, Homa-Bay, Isiolo , Kakamega, Kajiado, Kericho, Kirinyaga, Kisii, Kisumu, Laikipia, Machakos, Meru, Mombasa, Nairobi, Kisumu, Nyeri, Nyandarua, Trans Nzoia, Kitui, Kilifi, Siaya and Tharaka Nithi.
Applicants should be available for the engagement between 25th March to 5th April 2017
Data Collecting Agents
Selected candidates will conduct interviews with selected respondents in person.
These interviews will be conducted using a smartphone -assisted questionnaires.
The agents will be responsible for contacting respondents at homes, businesses, or public places to conduct the interviews.
Requirements
  • Diploma in any field from a recognized Kenyan Institution
  • Knowledge of basic smartphone applications
  • Outlook
  • Typing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Conversant with the local language for your selected County
