Plan International Nilinde Project Officer Job in Nairobi Kenya

Nilinde Project
Support for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) for Nairobi and Coast Counties of Kenya is a USAID-funded $41 million Cooperative Agreement awarded to a consortium led by Plan International.
Known locally as the Nilinde Project, this five-year initiative aims to improve the welfare and protection of the most vulnerable households affected by HIV/AIDS by reducing economic vulnerability and empowering parents to make investments that will improve the health and well-being of OVC.
We are inviting applications for the following position in Nilinde Project:
Project Officer – Nilinde, Nairobi
The project officer will play a key role in providing across the board support in executing of project tasks as assigned by the Project Team leads and/or Advisors and under the direction and supervision of the Senior Technical Advisor.
S/he is responsible for providing timely support to project oriented tasks and activities within Nilinde.
S/he will also undertake a range of day to day administrative and programmatic tasks as delegated whilst ensuring timely execution and quality in deliverables as expected.
S/he will be a self-driven individual who will play a key role in coordinating and supporting the reporting, documentation, organizing of project review meetings and trainings, correspondences and communication across program teams in liaison with project technical leadership with an aim of improving program delivery through the service delivery partners.
S/he will work closely with Nilinde Technical Team leads through the office of the Senior Technical Advisor to provide needed logistical and documentation support including scheduling and prioritizing program teams crosscutting plans.
S/he will also work with the procurement and logistics units to ensure project team members are well supported to carryout Nilinde-led project activities.
