Job Title: Stores Assistant
Responsibilities
  • Ensure all stores transactions are carried out as per the procurement policy
  • Receive and verify all goods to ensure compliance to set standards and that there is proper documentation as per the procurement policy
  • Ensure that all staff comply to stores requisition guidelines by filling in the necessary pre authorized documentation before issuance
  • Ensure daily and monthly stocks are duly carried out and the report presented to the CFO in a timely manner
  • Ensure that the minimum stock levels are restocked in a timely manner by advising appropriately
  • Limit stores accessibility to only authorized personnel to ensure safeguarding of company property
  • Ensure safety and health standard in the general cleanliness and arrangement of the stores
Job Requirements
  • Diploma in a business related field preferably supplies and Procurement
  • Knowledge of materials / stock / stores management
  • Computer literate – Knowledge of an ERP will an added advantage
