Our client is a non-profit organization with operations in the East African region and renowned for its gender related initiatives and activities in the health sector.
In order to strengthen its team, the organization seeks to recruit suitable qualified individuals to fill in the following positions in its Kenya operations.
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Ref: VIC/M&E/17-12
Reporting to the Executive Director, the job holder will be required to:
  • Review existing monitoring and evaluation plans and approaches and advice measures to strengthen decision making.
  • Support data quality improvement processes including revisions of existing tools and systems to ensure quality data acquisition.
  • Organize and provide training in monitoring and evaluation tools and systems for data collection for the staff.
  • Review and ensure detailed monitoring and evaluation targets are set.
  • Regular visits to fields to support implementation of monitoring and evaluation programs to assure data quality and identify adaptations where needed.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills and ability to manage skills with precise deadlines.
Qualification and Experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Statistics.
  • Good working knowledge of programme cycle management and development.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation programs with strong communication and analytical skills.
